Israel’s assault on Gaza, by air, sea and now land, has killed (at the time of this writing) more than 600 Palestinians, with more than 2,700 injured.

On Tuesday, president-elect Barack Obama finally sounded off on the Israel-Palestine conflict. According to Agence France-Presse via The Raw Story, Obama said he  expressed concern about the Gaza crisis but stressed he would not interfere in "delicate negotiations" by the outgoing US administration.”

With only days left until his term expires, it appears that the Bush legacy project, an attempt by the usual corps of serial sycophants to rehabilitate the lame-duck generalissimo's image, is falling upon the deaf ears and self-gouged eyes of an American public sickened by the last eight years.
